Located on our small farm in Pisgah Forest, Possum Trot was formerly a “tenant house” where farm workers lived during the 1930’s.
The picture shown is meant to give a taste of the outcome we are after: a very primitive structure with true local flavor where adventurous folks can find rustic shelter while exploring the area. This is a project “in development” which we would like to have completed by Spring 2022. We’ll keep you posted once we really dive into this resurrection. The plan is to take it back to being a one-room structure with a front porch. This may prove to be a crazy undertaking but preserving some of the farm history is a great motivator for us. Stay tuned to see where we end up!
